Well I haven't shared anything for ages so thought I should.

Just a quick one of a puppy that walked up to me in the park, which I thought was really cute...

Doesnt do anything for me. Soz :(
At first glance it looks to be blind in one eye, but then I realise that this is just a reflection.

Sorry Lee, Does nothing for me either, You could have made a great shot of the dog by getting down low at ground level and shooting making the perspective much better..:)

Hope you don't mind if I show an example of what I'm saying..:)

Just say and I will remove the image..;)

Whilst I'd agree the angle is not the easiest I think the main problem is the lack of definition. The shagginess of the dog is too similar to the grass in the background so it doesn't stand out like it should. A bit more contrast and a sharpen wouldn't hurt either.

I like it! Perfect doggy pose, and the depth of field is lovely. I have seen too many dogs from ground level, I think this is the kind of view people have of their dogs and I am sure this will be a great momento in years from now :)

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated.

BB your example is great and is the kind off shots I have tried to take of my own dog, I think I liked this because it was different from those and because the dog just walked up to me and said hello.

Cheers

I like the angle as it is different but I agree that the grass and the dogs coat are too similar. Maybe try blurring the background a bit more is PS and give the dog a good shapen.
