Image taken of a church in Wurzburg. As with the Chateau pic, it was taken with my F65, but had a Sigma 28-300 lens on it with a Cokin polariser attached. The vignetting was caused because of the filter adaptor plus the fact the lens was at its widest at the time.
I've had a go at enhancing the staricase. As for the sky - I couldn't get rid of the vignetting so I thought I would emphasise it to try and make it work a little more. Not sure if I've succeeeded though! Any thoughts or crit welcomed...

Chris, vignetting aside, this is a great shot IMO.
The light falling on the church is fabulous.
The control of the whites/highlights is excellent.
I wouldn't have thought the vignetting problem to be that great of an obstacle.
Anyway, it doesn't spoil it for me.
Great shot.
I love the colours in this and the vignetting is awesome in my opinion.
I'm afraid i don't know what 'vignetting' is but I think the picture looks really good :)

I think it's the little dark corners Bubbs ... (see top left of pic) caused by (generally) an attachment such as filters/lens hoods cutting off the light from the sensor ...:p
A great shot Chris ... colours brought out by the sunlight really give it a wow factor ... even with the dreaded 'V' ...:D

Thank you for explaining :)

Great Chris..... bit of serendipity that vignetting. Love it.
I think the vignetting works Chris. I've never really been one to spot 'minor' vignetting, nor have I been one to think it overly spoils photos.
In this case, with you emphasising it, I think you've done it well :) Adds to it I think

Wow! Thanks for the comments, guys! In all reality, this was shot in 2002, and I'd only recently bought my first decent camera. I was literally walking past this place when I thought it might make an okay shot. Beginner's luck, I guess! :)
