It was the reflection of the sunset, it was only like that for about 5 mins.

Been to Phuket myself :-)

Wow that sky looks angry! Had it just started raining? The sand in the foreground looks like rain had just started to fall on it

Just started. it was an amazing thunder storm that lasted till the early hours of the morning. We just sat in the bar and watched it all, with several beers of course!
