I was looking for video tutorials and ran across this.. so thought I'll have a go.. and by the golden throne it worked really well.. it was like a reflex shot without having to get the tripod out and loosing the shot.. better than nothing when theres no wall or fence to lean on and it fits in you pocket .. hope this helps someone :) ( Delete if its been done before please)

Just a thought but maybe a sticky with a title like " Togging on a Quid" ? My friend built me a lightbox for 50p out of a cardboard box and some ASDA carrier bags.. just a thought :)

Works for me, although have seen it multiple times before... I wonder if anyone has actually used something like this in anger?

they are good as if carrying a tripod is out of the question but wont allow you to be in the image with the missus though!

I've tried a similar idea in the past, only I tied two loops at the ends of a 5' length of rope. One loop went around the lens and you put you foot through the second.
