As taken from the camera except for the borders.

Please let me have your comments on these. Taken at Banham zoo near Great Yarmouth. Which one do you prefer if any. I know they are not too different from each other.

First one is my choice from the 2, it has more room to the left for the bird to look into, it does seem a tad soft though. Not sure if camera shake or slightly out of focus (although if its out of focus its not by much)

Looks almost like my shot of probably the same eagle (http://www.cookster.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/1014-130311-01%20%28Small%29.jpg), except i had a natural dark background as it was in hiding ! :)

It was gusting with wind at the time and I had it on AI Servo as I was going to the falconry show to catch this and others in flight.

I probably moved at the vital moment of capture. Need to look at performing some sharpening techniques to see how much better it will make it.

Theres not much in it so i think a decent sharpen will bring it up nicley.

There is a lot of wasted space at the top of the frame. Cant see the EXIF data but maybe use manual focus next time which will allow you to apply better composition?

Yes this was taken using the centre focus point. No cropping done as yet. Its exactly as it came from the camera apart from the borders.

I see your point though.

Nice amounts of detail evident :)
