These images taken at a 1000 ASA. I like the grittyness of the images whilst sharpness is maintained.

Hi Ian, your images look way to bright and under-saturated on my screen, as you've got your editing box ticked I've had an attempt at adjusting one of your shots to what I see as an acceptable level of brightness/saturation. I may have gone slightly on the dark/over-saturated side with your image now, but it looks good on my screen. Hope you don't mind my edit of your pic.

No problems, they look fine on my monitor but bright on the monitor at work. Your work looks very dark to me even on my monitor at work. Thanks for your comments.... Ian :shrug:
On my screen I'd say the edit is a touch overdone but nearer looking 'right' than the original.

I would agree. While the edit has lost a bit of shadow there is a good colour to the fungi now.
Looks like your white balance is out by quite a bit too. The wood looks blue.

Is this an improvement, adjusted WB and warmed the images up a little pluse a 10% boost in saturation.... Comments welcome...:shrug:
