This is the 53 Degrees Student Union venue/nightclub in Preston, seemed like a viable candidate to try out this HDR malarkey...

High Dynamic Range.

A method of processing pics which allows a much greater range of tones to be reproduced than would normally be possible. It usually involves combining at least two images taken at different exposures, and more commonly three images, but there's no limit on how many images you can use. Other than the processing power of your PC. ;)

Thanks - I think it's a very interesting building, really - the metal covering, the strange angles - I hated it when it first went up but it's really grown on me.

I'd love to learn this technique - What software do you need? :shrug:

Ahhhh.... i see. looks cool! I'm still getting to grips to using some basic techniques in photoshop! i'll get round to doining that ohhh... next year maybe! :lol:

Thanks very much - when I have some more spare time I'm hoping to do a full study of the interior and exterior of the whole building...
