Things have gone pretty well and on the strength of these shots I have been asked to cover another two dog shows on a regular basis.....

Not what I really wanted to do but.....they really like to buy pics of there dogs ;)
The prints are really nice and have had loads of compliments including local interest for pet portraits.
I won't flood the forum with anymore though.
TFL.

Excellent shots and good to hear you're getting recommendations. How are you selling the prints - on the day or through a website?

Not surprised they sell well. Those are very good!

A bit of both....I took orders on the day but handed out LOTS of cards too. I took the lappy for those that don't have internet, those that do visit my site. I also took everyones name an Tel No. And a deposit ;) contact them when I've processed or printed.....

Thanks Robert, I'm pleased I said yes now.....I done a show last year but never had the confidence, I was asked then if I'd consider doing it as a regular thing and although I said yes I let them down with some feeble excuse. This time was a breeze, much more confident and so far I have sold 14 prints.....

Thanks guys. Most of the dog owners have asked if they can submit them to some yearly dog mag and the people from the event told me they'd be publishing some from the show in some "Pawz" monthly mag or something.

Love the shots, and I for one have no problem with you posting more like these as I love dogs. TFS

Nice work Ken

(Good to see another dog photographer about :) )

I've done a few shows and while the day was always very scuessful it is not something I really enjoyed. If you enjoy the work then great stuff!
