View Full Version : Has anyone managed to cobble filters onto their Nikon 14-24?

I was thinking of getting this lens before it's price goes up again in the near future. It cries out (to me) for landscape work, but I can see that the front element sticks out, and the hood is fixed (I think) so filters won't fix on.

I guess you could get around it by sticking/blu-tacking filters onto the hood, but it seems a bit silly to blu-tack stuff to the front of a £1300 lens - has anyone come up with a more elegant solution?
