The missus was out this morning so I had a couple of hours at a forest in Ashridge Estate, Hert to get some autumn colours. This is what I got :)

Fixed. (Ish) :)
Lived in Markyate was only about 20 minutes away ! :)
3 and 4 do it for me. great detail.
I like them all!
2nd one has a lovely dreamy, almost magical effect, really draws me in and makes me want to meander around in there.
Love the close-up of the sun on the leaves in no3. ....and the last ones just sort of really cute!

The second one is especially good due to the shadows and the little chestnut thingies (:D) look almost alive; like field mice.

Very nice indeed, I love the golden colours...can't decide which one I like most ...its between one and two though. :D
Love no#4 (Chestnuts?)
I suspect that you didn't find it just like that, but had to fettle a little?
(not that it matters - the result speaks for itself)
Thanks for the comments :)
Oldgit (am I allowed to call you that? ) I rearranged the top right and bottom left leaf but I did find it nestled in a bed of leaves almost like that ;)
It's been my nom-de-plume for many a year now. I've probably earned it.
Very nice set. Love that last one.
