Nice one Mike!
Glad you got out in Snowdonia as you said you wanted to :)
Thanks Dark Star, H.u.N. and siejones
Siejones, it was your photos of Snowdonia that inspired me to drive all that way again, it's a part of the country I really love (being a Welshman has a lot to do with it as well I think :)). The pano was a not the easiest thing to process with photoshops' photomerge, as it required a lot of manual blending of the sky. which I think I just managed to do a passable job with. I did try other commercial progs which dealt with the blending much better, but as they were only 'trials' they left their bloody big watermarks on the pano!

I am from the west midlands and go as often as I can. I could drive the road there blindfolded now I have drove it so many times :)
Which of the trial software do you think did the best job? I might have a look at these. For me the less manual intervention the better :)

Hi Simon, Panorama Factory is very good, I've also found a free program that works fairly well Autostich CLICKY (http://www.cs.ubc.ca/%7Embrown/autostitch/autostitch.html) there's a brief tutorial here CLICKY (http://jimdoty.com/Digital/autostitch/autostitch.html). There is also an excellent commercial program that licences the Autostich 'engine', it's call Autopano Pro CLICKY (http://www.autopano.net/). It does seem to be a very impressive program, it even has support for RAW & HDR images.
