Just goes to show that all these bloody lights on these buildings left on ALL the time are totally unnecessary. Streetlights are a necessity, emergency exits, etc.

But why light an office that's empty?

One thing I will suggest.

If you car DOES fail it's MOT, write it off!
Combined, the increase in your insurance and the excess will be a lot cheaper than buying a new car :p

When I got my focus, it was £3000 and the insurance also increased by £500!

Edit: Woah, wrong thread!

A fantastic reminder of how much energy we waste, one hour for a one off event aint enough though. we should be doing this more often if not every night.

When we had the floods in Sheffield a couple of years ago and parts of the city were without electric, they asked everyone to conserve supplies, you could walk into most electrical retailers during the day and find every television set on.:bonk::bang::bonk:!!!

having spent 48hrs without lecky you realise we will be screwed without it!!!

thanks for this thread its worth spreading the message.
