A potentially lovely shot Chris ... plane trail spoils it for me as it is such an attention grabber ... or was that your intention ...:D
No way I could tell 'HDR' shot from this pic ... or any for that matter ... still not grasped the concept ...

Thanks Ven... No, it wasn't intentional to leave the vapour trail in there... Ta for pointing it out though - looks better!

Big difference ... loads cleaner ...
Can 'see' the pic now ... real cool shot ...:D
Still not with the HDR stuff though ... looks a normal pic to me in the sense of I can't see the jiggery pokery ...

Thanks Rog!
It's probably quite good you can't 'see' any jiggery pokery, isn't it? Means it's not been overdone... The only work I did in PS to get this though was the cloning to lose the vapour trail. Here are thumbnails of the pics I used to get this image together...

Dunno exactly what the software has done, but it seems to have added more 'punch' to the shot, but without losing any of the detail by compressing levels or anything. (If that makes any sense!)
Petemc is obviously the one to talk to about HDR - without his tutorial, I doubt anybody would really be trying their hand at it like they currently are!
You're getting good at this HDR stuff mate!
