Yes, in all three - set at -2 stops as the sun was low and bright. Very dark without as 350D does not have true spot metering.

First one is a bit odd, noisy with some fringing? I take it that it is a crop?

Yes - they are all cropped - The low sun on wet branch took out the highlights - will go back and have a look at the RAW ile and see how much fringing is there.
