Continuing my dabbling with HDR... these three were from single RAW files...taken at Leatherhead crematorium...all comments welcome...I'm still making my mind up about HDR!
Hope I'm not boring you with it!

I like the first one - but would be interested to see a non-HDR version as I can't work out whether the treatment adds anything to the shot, or not!
IMO, HDR's should be a landscape photography thing only.

I can see where you're coming from Nath but I thought I'd give it a go - although I do like the angel.
Witch here's the dogs original image:

I think my other post does the technique more justice (wide + HDR) - these are just the dabblings of an eager beginner :D
No2 does nowt for me but i think the HDR job on No1 is realy good and I like the composition too. I also really like No3 too and although I can't see what HDR has done for it seeing as the tonal range is limited to mostly green plus some black, white and grey I think it is still a great shot.
Well done
Thanks for posting up the original image. IMO a perfect candidate for the HDR technique as it brings out the shadow detail that was previously lost. Nice work!

Thanks Kev and Witch! I do think that there is a surreal quality about HDR used in this way and I find that quite attractive...

no 1 is great it looks so cute.but the others suffer in comparison to it
Looking at them now I actually like number 1 alot, it's not overly done like most HDR's .. it still looks real rather than looking like a cartoon.
