Ah yes very good point!! Retailers of equipment like Jessops, Park Cameras etc!!
I don't know what's about, but I do know to be careful of the fly by night camera stores on strip malls.
They'll sell you grey market import goods, bait and switch (we've got a cheap 50D! Oh, wait, that ones reserved, how about this not-so-cheap 40D?) or offer to sell you the camera really cheap, but they can't sell it without the battery door which doesn't come with the camera.
The battery door will be surprisingly expensive for a bit of plastic.

There are a few good ones in the main shopping malls and you can grab a good bargain if your prepared to shop around, I picked up a Canon 100-400L lens last April from a small shop near to Sports Dominator on I Drive for $1491, which was about £770.
There are some right dodgy dealers around as well so be careful.

As a rule of thumb, avoid everything in Orlando except Colonial Photo and Hobby. It's city centre, actually just off Colonial Dr. about a half mile east from the Interstate [forget which exit, sorry, I just know it when I see it..]. Good guys, full of the right sort of kit. Ritz are having a hard time of it at the moment, but there's usually a Ritz in most of the large malls.

It is a huge store *** and good to have a look around.

I am heading to Orlando in October and was going to see if I could pick anything up cheap, which I highly doubt.
I will go check out this store on International Drive :)

Also, remember the guarantee is invalid.
