I found an interesting shiny black bug, so put my Sigma 105mm on and went in the garden to take a few shots. I then learnt that the Sigma will autofocus on my D300! Previously had to manual focus on the D60, so now well pleased:D

The D40, 40x and D60 do not have their own focusing motors. If you want auto-focus you have to buy lenses that have their own motor.

I had a play with a D300 the other day. What a piece of kit that is :D
