View Full Version : Photoshop Colour Picker
My colour picker in photoshop has changed
i used to be able to pick black/white, shades of grey and everything else.
Now if I get black at one corner there isnt white at the other but blue or red or whatever. its all gone really weird. I dont like the pantone swatches etc, just the normal photoshop one. any ideas anyone??
No idea...
but the "get out of jail free card" is to reset everything  :nono:
- Hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift whilst starting PS. This resets the world back to what it was when it came out of the box.
Ahhh  have you changed the colour settings.
There is a pulldown that allows you to set various colour ranges such as pantone.
I did this once... took me an age to find where it was and reset it. From memory its on the colour picker/swatches window
Thanks guys. I googled this and found out I had to open the color picker and select the H box. This did the trick!! ALthough along my route to this end, I discovered the swatches that you talked about and they are a good idea as lots of them have a name for the colour, so when making a pre-set mount action I can have them exactly the same colour without guessing.
Im a winner all round!
