just like it says on the tin...an hdr from 3 taken in the fading evening light. there's some lovely grain going on too in the full sized one!

Great take ... certainly looks a stunning pic SS ... any chance of seeing it at max 800px ...:thinking:

Would really like to see it expanded a bit ...:D

its called the Dru and its in the chamonix valley...
and this one is the aiguille du midi (there's a pano from the station on my website), again an HDR mono convert. loving the effect even if I do sat so m'self :D

It really is a super pic ... imo ... ;)

Not so sure about the other one ... not as contrasty and it has some distracting lines down the left slope ...:thinking:

The pano on your site is really magnificent ...:D

Your site is very good too ... easy to nav and attractive to view ... not sure about the hangman character but that's a personal thing ... amusing though ...:lol: ... and some really stunning photography you have on view too ... excellent stuff from all over the place ...:clap:

cheers! it was minus 5 when those were shot too. I wore a nice big down coat at the time :D
