Canon 400D - advice please

Greetings

I have the following:
Canon 400D
Canon 50mm f1.8
Canon 18-55mm kit lens
Sigma 28-300

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the next step. Ideally in terms of next lens I'd like to go down one of two roads - either a lens at the wide angle end of things, or a macro lens.

Can anyone offer any help or advice on which lens might fulfill the purpose, and also, as I'm not made of money, which is the best value

I have pretty much the same kit. (I have 28-135, 70-300 instead of your 28-300!).
I recently decided to hire the Canon EF-S 10-22mm, so far I am quite impressed with it.

Sigma 10-20 for the wide end, is a great lens
