David, I'm not sure about this one, first impressions are that she does not looked relaxed and appears to be uncomfortable but if she is new to modelling it is understandable. I think the pose would have worked better if she was kneeling with maybe one leg tucked underneath her, the squatting position she is in makes her look unbalanced and the two fingers used to steady herself reinforces this. the stance does not go with the 'strap of the shoulder' look either, just my opinion of course.

I hope this doesn't sound too harsh or negative, she's a lovely looking girl and your lighting and mono conversion works well.

first impressions are that... that outfit doesn't go with the facial expression, in my opinion anyway

I love the processing you have used on this shot, but would have to agree with Hacker re the models' pose (plus, from a girly point of view, it's not a very flattering pose).

I agree with Min (am I following you  )

I love the processing & the contrast of the dress against the white background is fab but thats where it ends for me.

The pose is neither flattering, nor sexy... I could start a list on that but it may come across as overly harsh so Ill just leave it with, not one of your better ones.
Just my opinions as Im learning too ... and of course its always so much easier to spot where others are go wrong, so hope you dont mind!

I'm afraid that :agree: with the above.

The outfit and pose looks a bit like the morning after the xmas party (and where did I go to lie down last night)

Do you know - I think part of the problem with the shot is the hairstyle. It's a bit too "Secretary" for the sexy off-the-shoulder look......I think those type of shot needs a slightly more "tousled" style - I hope you understand what I'm meaning 'cos I'm not vocalising it well!

I'll agree (again!) with what's said above too re the pose - she looks a bit strained hol.ding it and would probably have been more relaxed if she's been more comfortable. On the plus side though it's lovely and sharp and I love the mono treatment - very cool!
