Hello all,

My mate has a Canon 40D, I have a Canon 30D.

When he shoots a portrait shot with his lens the image fills the LCD screen on the back of the camera, when I do it on the 30D, it doesn't. The image is small and in landscape view, for a portrait image.

Is it possible for the 30D to view the images so it fills the LCD screen?

Many thanks,

on most Canon cameras there is a menu function to "rotate images"
make sure it is OFF

I've found the menu option 'Rotate', but when I press the 'Set' button inside the wheel next to the LCD it goes to the 'play' option and allows me to view my images.

What I want is for when I shoot my picture to be able to show it as full screen instantly, rather than going through the above everytime!
