I guess you didnt on purpose do the following, but can you try it and post?
- Convert just black and white
- Lose the eyeballs
- Crop off the forehead hair

IMHO this will be a more "classic" image

Very interesting idea Chris. As Oldgit says, I'd be interested to see it fully sillouetted. You're getting quite creative these days mate!

I'll probably be on my own here but I prefer the original - the whiskers don't work in the full silhouette for me and the first is more a nod to the concept rather than trying to be the exact spot on effect which I prefer.

It works well (maybe a shave first next time though :)) It also reminds me of the old 'Alas Smith & Jones' show........ if anyone else can remember back to the mid 80's :thinking:

To be honest, I was just playing about with a softbox, trying to get the levels roughly right for a shoot I might do later on today or tomorrow, and thought I'd have a pop at this as well...

Very nice CD ... like them both ... but my preference goes to the first shot ... it has more interest appeal and is somewhat different from just being a carbon copy ...:thumbs:

My new glasses show everything as fuzzy ... :eek: ... so furry ... where's furry ...:D
