Love the lighting in these Pete, adds to the drama. What made you go and shoot these? Does the guy in the last one know he's got his belt on upside down?

Thanks. My thoughts exactly. I was covering an ultimate fighting championship last night. These are just some candids I took before and after the fights. I saw that belt too, still he won!

Actual fight images to follow.

What's it like photographing boxing/fighting? I guess it's all hi ISO and no flash is it? When we were flying back from Miami in July they had an exhibition of boxing photos (can't remember the photograohers name) and I was in awe of them. Wouldn't mind having a go some time but I'm not convinced my gear would be up to the job. My camera is aweful at anything over ISO400 and my faster lenses tend to hunt alot in low light. Maybe one day though.....

Very nice with the black back ground, the last one is superb, well would have been, great stance, it doesn't bother me that his eyes aren't lit as well as the other shots... shame about that belt...paint shop... ;)

Looking forward to the fight shots.

These are great. I'm not a sports fan but I do like these very much.

I love these shots! Very moody, and they all look very menacing (in a complimentary way!)

Very good set, like the second shot in particular, seems you have captured a very sinister or menacing look in that shot
