Anyone who does this for a living has my utmost respect.
This little angel was the biggest problem, sitting still wasn't really considered an option

No teeth! :D
The second one has a lovely warm // golden feel to it - I'm not saying it has a colour cast, it just has a lovely feel. Excellent.
You enjoyed it really ;)
Nice work Dodders.
Job very well done I'd say.
Are you going to flog your nifty50 again now?
Are you going to flog your nifty50 again now?
Got another similar job on next week so I'll keep it till then at least.
I've alrady had an offer to buy it via PM  Still really hankering after the 24-70, would have been perfect today, it was a wee bit cramped and the 50 was slightly too long some of the time.

Great shots Dod!
I picked up an older 28-70mm L quite cheap and love it as a lens

An excellent set (both !) Dods ... liking them a lot ... and it is fair to say any parent would be chuffed to rocks with those results ...
For someone who (gives the impression he ... :D) doesn't like it ... you've made a damn fine job of those sittings m8 ... imo of course ...
Great stuff ... 'n respect ... ;)
:p

Thanks for the comments but I just got an email back saying the group ones are "fuzzy"
Not having that, insisted I go back and do them again tonight, fuzzy indeed.

Blox m8 ... point them to Steep's optician friendz ... :D
:p
Can't believe their saying the group ones are 'fussy' I think they look really good, seems like a very nice lens! The 1st one is my fav :) :)
customer's always right
Hmm, women and computers = :bang: Turns out she was opening them in her browser and it was reducing the size and making them look all fuzzy i.e. pixellated. Having said that took 5 shots in a minute and ended up with something I think is better than I got in an hour on sunday :) Touch of red-eye and colour balance needs a tweak this time (mix of flash and tungsten) but that's easy fixed.

I prefer the originals Doddy - loads more punch. The eyes are far better too - the red eye correction has killed all the expression in the eyes. Bummer though mate, sounds like a really awkward customer. Can't you show her the shots on a lappy?

She's not really awkward to be fair, she was more than a wee bit embarrassed when I showed her what was wrong ;)
I think I agree with you though, the first lot are better for impact.
This isn't bad though, just a quick play with it

Better Doddy, but not in the same league as the original shots mate. The lighting looks very flat in comparison. You did a bloody good job in the first place.
Still... the customer is always right.

I'm with CT and think originals are of a higher quality but as a parent I would imagine that last one would be the clincher. The little girls delight is a joy!
Well done mate!
Actually that last one does look brighter now.

Hi George
Thank you so much. The photos are really lovely. I really appreciate you coming out last night. I realise it was out of your way.
I particularly LOVE 1,2,4,6,7,9,10,11,12!!!
I would appreciate 2 copies of each of the individual one's. And, unfortunately, about 16 copies of the group. So the duplicate copies is your choice!! As i love them ALL!!
Thanks again
