Hi,
I would like a small light tent to do some stuff with at home to pass the winter away.
Any ideas where to search one out online thanks?
Pete.

How small?
I got that Hama mini studio XL thing from the last group Hama order for £30 which is quite nifty, its not all that big though.

it'd be spot on for that then Pete.

Its about £34.99 from most places, we got it for £30 from Hama because it was a big group order, I'm not sure when the next group order will be though.

Classic. Thankfully, my brother has a complete set of unboxed 77 originals in the Vader carry case - showing my age there though.
I once bought a C3P0 carry case rammed full with 77 originals with sabers and blasters for £11.00. Two in each slot as well.
Could not believe my luck.

:agree: with MrG there ... a first class bit of kit for the price ... and as it's so portable it is so very versatile too ...
Incidentally Maplins delivered mine next day and are an excellent retailer for other stuff too ... recommended ... :D

The maplin one is good.
But it hasn't got a lid!.... or at least the image doesn't show one :( The front is totally open too, that will still show the camera/photographer with shiny (Doh, the photographer hasn't got shiny objects:) )
We got ours from KPProf of Cambridge (http://www.kpprof.com). Not as cheap as Maplins thoiugh. Wouldn't be without ours great fun so controllable
We got a much larger one - the shots I took of Marianne's granddaughters were taken with them inside!

Illustration is entirely innaccurate ... or you could argue it is just demonstrating its versatility ... :D
The unit certainly does have a lid when it is used properly ... but you are right it does not have a front ... however an offcut of net curtains or similar with your lens poked through would soon sort that ...
:p
Depending on your budget Pete you should check out this supplier too http://www.stevesphotoshop.co.uk/
He does a good range of light tents plus lighting as well and matched kits. Prices seem pretty good.

Just an example.......Two flashes and a light tent! (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=13404)
I've got the Maplins one, totally unused, cover postage and it's yours.
The Hama mini studio appears to come with a Blue and Black background, does anyone know whether the Maplin one comes with anything?
Any recommendations on what to use? persumably a sheet/material would crease, would a sheet of card be sufficient?
