No not you - seem to get a lot of grain with the 350D from 200asa upwards

Hmmm is it grainy or just lo res? It's only a 54 kb image - I reckon there's a lot more detail there we're not seeing Phil. :)

I put it through the TPF action "save for web 800 portrait so must try and not be in a hurry!

It's better Phil, but the problem is when you sharpen you also make any noise more visible. You can get away with the noise on the body of the bird and the feeder where there's enough detail to conceal it, but it becomes very noticeable on plain areas like the green background. I selected just the plain green areas with the magic wand and applied noise reduction just to the mask. It looks like you've done the same but you need to get a closer fit with the mask.
