I think you've got a bit lower there Jamie which is good. Lower still would be even better though, and try to use a larger aperture to throw the background OOF.

There's no way you're going to kneel in the mud with your best strides on though which is why cheapo waterproof over trousers and jackets are really the order of the day if you're seriously going after wildlife shots, then you don't have to worry about lying full length in the crap if you need to. ;)

Mind you I'll be the first to admit swans can be pretty scarey close up, and it takes big nads to lie down when they're that close! :lol:

Swans look so ungainly on land compared to the beautiful gliding creatures they are in water.
