love number 7 - just for what it is. Impossible to take a bad pic of this iconic figure.......if only photo's had sound.

to be honest, for me, if the horizon is not horizontal (clues in the name? :-) ) , doesn't really do it for me, but still nice clean crisp sharp images?

I assume pretty much as came off the card?

After a 2nd look think your scensor needs a clean

ill have to get that sorted with regards to cleaning the sensor then, the b17 with the halo was a pic that didnt come out to well so had a quick go at editing it in iphoto it helps make the shape stand out but as you point out has some significant downsides.

they are more or less as they came off the card yeah bar a minor bit of editing on some of them, i did my best with the horizons but alot of it was fairly rushed as people moved out the way enough so i could get a picture in but im learning...

Yup, some bunnies in evidence there.

I very much like the VC10 shot.

the vc10 was awesome it went over so quietly then came back round and gave it a bit more power and it was suprisingly how loud it was... just found another one looking through the images but its a bit bland although it was one of the only pics i got of a plane flying through a bit of blue sky that day

The angles don't do it for me neither, but that's not a criticism, just more of a personal thing. The trick is to keep practicing and learn what your camera is capable of in different lighting conditions, not sure if you use manual settings but this does give more control and flexibility over auto. The other and probably most important ingredient is to enjoy taking airshow pictures, apart from anything else it can be an interesting challenge.

some were taken in manual mode some were taken in auto the light kept changing and i wanted to get some decent photos to remember the day by so i switched to auto, the last ones of the mustang for example were done on manual mode
