How much for a 1D mkII second hand?

I'm looking at a 1D mkII body on ebay, it's 2 years old, 20k shutter activations, can anyone advise what a fair price would be?

I'm not sure as am a Nikon man but i just saw one this morning on www.mpbphotographic.co.uk if you lok at their canon cameras you will see it. its going for £2,099.

kardo i think you saw a mkIII.. I would say 900 quid Dave.. get one from a used gear seller and get a warranty with it.

I sold my spare for £700 and Jacobs had a couple at £599 and £699 recently. Depends on condition but I would have thought you wouldn't need to go above £800

Thanks for the advice, I hope it was a mkIII at that price kardo!

I'm not sure wether to go for it or not, always a bit dubious about buying from ebay, especially for expensive items!

been watching MKIIs all week, not one has gone for under £700, most go for £750-800.

MKIINs alot more than that still
