Am looking for a portable reflector to reflect light from my window onto subjects indoors.

Anyone recommend me anything and a good place to get one?

What colour should I go for? It is mainly for shooting people.

Ebay!

You don't need to spend a lot to get a decent reflector imo.
Mines massive and cost me a tenner.

Also, as far as colour goes, get a 5-1 reflector. Has a gold side for warming the subject up which can work beautifully.

ebay, or for an even cheaper option, go to poundland, buy a car windscreen sunshade thing.

don't get the 5 in 1-ness of an ebay one, but it does the same thing otherwise...

There used to be a fair few 5 in 1 reflectors on ebay for about a tenner, seemed good value:thumbs:

agreed that a cheap 5 in 1 wont break the bank and can be really useful.

Hmmm. Clocked a few of those thanks gents. What size should I go for, only really for lighting up the kids and top half portraits?

My one is massive, and I've made a sock for it (basically just a big circular prism shaped piece of material) that reduces the size of the actual reflector.

I recommend getting the biggest one you can because you can always make it smaller.

Ordered an 80cm one. See how I get on with that. Cheers all!!
