My first attempts at night time stuff with my 12 to 24mm Nikkor and no flash ...

Nowhere near as good as some of the recent stuff posted but always interested in ... and happy to get ... feedback or comments ... :D

At any rate thanx for looking ... hope they ain't that bad ...

Ven, you should have said you were manning a stand, I would have popped down, the only reason we didn't go was because one our boys is ill. There is another one a week on Tuesday in the square and I've just been told that our fledgling band are playing Abs Bar that night to 'entertain' the shoppers, whether it's the type of entertainment they'll be looking for is another matter but it's our first gig! :shake:

how is it possible to reduce the "distortion" in a dark photo??
i thought it was just my camera, but maybe not.

i was looking on dpreview the other night at some sample shots of many types of camera and most of them struggle with low light.. why is this???

Not sure DoubleT ... I thought the distortion in my pic was caused by the WA lens I was using ...
