I am thinking about getting this lens for my D40 :clap:
Is it any good, I am wanting to talk photos of mainly wildlife, landscapes, flowers etc. :)

It's very good, it's not for landscapes though.
I would go for the next one up if I were you, Sigma 70-300mm APO DG Macro, it's made with better glass

I thought I did alright considering it was really cold, holding it at 300mm on a macro setting isn't easy! I wish I had my tripod with me at the time!
Oh yes thats the one APO sorry forgot the add that bit in :)

I've got an D60 and a Sigma 70-300 APO AF-D. I will be selling it soon that optics are really good but I found manually focusing to be very frustrating. I would recommend you buy the 70-300 with hyper sonic motors.
