I've got a Tamron 17-50mm which I want to sell.
The front is a little loose andI heard you can fix it yourself. Is there any guides to help me to do so (pref with photos)?
Try here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiOj-7MAO_w), its not a canon fit one is it??

It's a 2 minute job to do, basically just carefully prise the beauty ring off the front, tighten the three screws, clip the ring back on.
Just be careful not to scratch the front element ;)
Took me longer to type this than it actually does to do the job
I have this lens...
cheers for the link

There's a pretty long list of people on here who would love a 17-50 (I was one of them until a few months ago....). Awesome lens, and thanks for the video!

Anyone know what screws this uses. One screw the thread is virtually gone so I can't tighten it.
Somebody here is interested in buying it but I'm not feeling too happy selling it before fixing it first.
