well im after a new camera bag (thats the pun:naughty:) and i have decided down to:
lowepro fastpack
lowepro slingshot
lowepro flipside
so id thought i could leave it upto the good old forum that coud help me.
btw i have a sony a300 with 2 kit lenses and a few accesories so if theres anymore suggestions then post here. also if anyone is willing to sell theirs then please pm me.
How long will you be carrying it?
Have owned the Slingshot and it's fast as hell to access but not as comfortable as a real backpack.
Have had the flipside 300 as well and I'll be buying one again. Great little backpack, comfy and fast to work out of because of the "reversed" design.

i dont tend to go on hikes i just tend to use it to hold all my equipment and there has been the odd time i go on trails for a few hours.
I am quite a big guy and the slingshot 200 cuts in across my chest after a while.

ive just sold a rucksack that was like a copy of the minitrekker but i didnt like it because it was too big for me. im more of a slim body so thats why i thought about the three choice i made.
Im slim bodied and have a slingshot, its brilliant. the swing round idea is great 1.its quick 2. it gives you something to rest your camera on while changing lens etcetc! i carry nikond80 18mm-250mm lens, speedlight cokin filters, batteries and theres enough room for a few snacks etcetc. its not massive but small enough its comfy and easy to travel with!

I rate my fastpack, just not big enough anymore :(
Do you take a laptop about as thats why I bought the bag (that and my prev bag was a tiny shoulder bag) heads up with a 50d 80-200 f2.8 lappy 50mm f1.4 28-75 f2.8 19-35 and flash it gets HEAVY after a long walk
