sell canon 70-300 & buy 85mm

Just bought a 70-200f4 is now thinking of selling 70-300 is to buy 85mm Do you think this would be a good move or should I just hold on to the 70-300 for a while longer

It depends how often you use the 200mm - 300mm range I suppose! If you are interested in wildlife and other distant things, then keep it, if it's not getting any use then sell!

It depends what you shoot.

I'd have a 85 f/1.2 any day over a 300mm f/2.8
