Awww such a cutey.

From one dad to another....welcome to the club mate, there is no better feeling in the world

(Little tip though, you're not supposed to use flash with newborns, their eyes are too sensitive apparently).

See you on the forums in the early hours of the morning...feeding with one hand, typing with the other :D If you need any tips, just ask ;)
<-----Stay at home dad.

 fair play to all women
as any dad will know standing next to your beloved and not being able to do anything but say well done honey and rub her back is not nice at all but in saying that i wouldnt fancy changing places " little bit of honesty there"

Congrats to you, mum and kid.

If its your first and you are anythink like me then it'll take some time to get used to being called "Dad", but it's great.

Quite right....When our second was born, I had to help hold my wife down. She's 4 foot not much else, and boy could she summon up some strength to try and curl up (which naturally wasn't allowed). And when we tried to get her legs in stirrups she accidentally belted the midwife. I did tell her afterwards what she'd done and she apologised to a chorus of "Dont be silly, you've got nothing to apologise for".

Childbirth must hurt, but boy is it a miracle to watch.
