View Full Version : Amy & Kerry - Full Frontal Implied - Really NSFW!!!
Did these a while back and just got the go-ahead from both girls to post the images up here.
Amy's a good freind who needed some ew images to use as contact photos on a Gay Forum she frequents. Kerry's a mate with similar inclinations.
Within 2 days, Amy had more invitations than she knew what to do with and is now settled into a relationship with another very pretty girl (who I'll be doing some portraits of in a similar vein next year) so they must have worked.
Just thought you all might be interested to see what can be done with just one softbox in a tiny bedroom.

 VERY nice shots! Really work well in mono. Will say more after looking at them for a short (long) while longer.
nice set arkady and all with just one soft box..
do the look better in mono with just the one light or was that the feel you were going for " just asked as some shot tend to look beter in mono than colour imo"
Mono was specified by the customer. All shot RAW and fiddled in CS2.
Very nice photo's. I think you need to organise a studio session soon!
Some people don't need all the gear when they have talent in spades. Good work fella.
I like the first two alot, proving just how much you can do with simple yet good lighting.
The others are not quite in the same bracket for me.... and as for the one with the sword..... gives me the chills.
Great lighting, works very well. Are they slightly tinted mono's (I know what I mean) they have a slight cast on my monitor? Lovely contrast too.
BTW hope she doesn't do her bikini line with that sword
She has got the sharp pointy bit topside...hasn't she :gag:

I think 2 &3 are just lovely although all are great. The emotion that comes across in those two well enough said.

2 and for are my favorites but only one small crytisism is i think the picture would of looked nicer with the bottom lady putting her hand around the others waist and instead of the lady on top having her hand sticking out her neck she could of been running her fingers through her hair. Bloody hell i sound like i read mills & boon!!!!
By the way i don't, no really doh!!!!!!
nr2 rules. Subtle, tender, emotional, sensual, etc, etc
Don't need all that hands on stuff to be sexy.
last one. Sword, in bed, between legs. Lost on me, sorry.
Doesn't matter what I think, you obviously scored well.
Some of them were meant as 'test-shots' for a studio booking that has yet to be done - with her new 'official' Mrs.
I just included them here so that you an see what can be achieved with minimal preparation and kit. For half the shots I had to stand on the bed itself as room was so limited, plus the huge German Shepherd in the cage next to the bed (not shown) was a considerable distracton to all of us!
The images are a mixture of Mono and colour.
I copy each image, desaturate the copy, change it to a tri-tone and load a pre-saved colour combo that I made up myself using the colour picker in the Pantones section. I desaturate slightly if required using the Ctrl+U key, then I change it back to RGB and drag it back onto the original as a new layer.
Going into the layers palette, I reduce the opacity of the sepia layer to between 50% and 90% depending on the look I'm after. Then combine the layers, and carry on with anything else that needs doing.
If you use a blue-ish tri-tone, and desaturate the colour layer a bit, you can achieve a very 'Saving Private Ryan' look to your city-scapes with the same technique.
thanks for all the info mate just thought id say thanks its very helpfull to know ..
I really like the first one and the last one. Really good to look at. Thanks for sharing.

just one soft box
Is it by any chance permissible to say "FNAR" at this point ?
Quite so - I say Phnaar (note posh spelling) all the time...
