As you will all probably know, we have to disable HTML on the forums, for security reasons.
This means that the only things you can embed into a post are pictures.
Until now.
With the huge rise of the online video site YouTube, we've decided to implement a little feature for you to embed YouTube videos into a post, to save readers having to click a link to see a video.
It's simple to do.
If you have a YouTube video you would like to post, simply look at the address bar while watching it.
For example : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9QUN5rW5mw
The bit I've highlighted in red, just put that inbetween YOUTUBE tags, like this
d9QUN5rW5mw
Or, if you like, click the http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/images/editor/youtube.gif icon at the top of the editor box (if you're in advanced mode), and enter the code there.
And hey presto, there in your post to save a click, appears your youtube video....
