Excellent! Love the look in that second one :)
:agree:
The 2nd one is a definite FOAD look.
haha, that second pic is a corker!
just a quick question,.. i presume that it was taken from quite a distance. how did you get the focus just on her and no where else?
is this something only a certain type of lense can do?

2 is really fantastic and I think 3 would make a great mono conversion. Top notch street photos

that picture was shot wide open (F2) on a 135mm F2 Canon Lens.. I saw the couple walking down the street towards me and was tracking her
she obviously saw my camera 'tracking her' and by the look on her face, was showing her displeasure at me
which in my opinion, makes it a nice picture
and it was taken at 'about 4-6 yrds which was reasonably close
its wierd taking street candids as when people spot me pointing the camera they 'invariably' smirk or scowl which makes candids much more interesting
I have 100's of street pics but I am very 'picky' with the ones that I like
I snapped this little Girl in New York Last month and I just loved this picture as soon as I had taken it

Number 2 here also, great expression captured and great use of DoF
cool, so its just photography of complete strangers. do you ever have confrontation from people?
anyone seen the film one hour photo?
great photos though. do you do much PP work on them to get them finished like that?
Great candids there. Very sharp, and great compositons and expressions.
Have I seen no. 2 before?

sometimes people get 'hot under the collar' and most of the time people just grin, or scowl - have heard some nice language as well from time to time
this guy

looked as though he was gonna get 'uppety' with me but he then came upto me asking all sorts of questions, and he turned out to be a real funny guy
Joe the one with the girl in shot 2 - I posted it on pretty much all the forums when I took it, so no doubt you will have seen it there
as for PP work I usually get rid of distracting backgrounds etc... and like the so called Dragen effect... which was 'banded' all over the photography forums a couple of years ago, that guy is a genius with photoshop
here is a link to his work
http://andrzejdragan.com/
so basically when I get a photo that looks like it would work well with the 'Dragen effect' I spend half an hour emulating his style (trying)
thanks for commenting guys
