Very nice shots mate, the focus on the first is bang on!

I also note that you have managed to catch the shifty one in the bunch on the second shot .... experienced hunch ? :lol:

He did seem to be giving me the eye. Thats why I picked him out :D

With the first one I was trying to capture the moment he pulled his head out of the water. To damn quick though.

love them pix m8, absolutly fantastic, especially the first one,

the water is fantastic and pin sharp focus, cant be beat imho

Top pic is perfect in every way :D

I just wish people would stop posting pics taken with their new lenses making me want to remortgage the house or ebay one of the kids so I can get mine!!!

Can't add much, except to echo everyone else by saying that first pic is A1, and the timing is perfect IMO with the water running off the beak. :)

Nice timing and great focus on the first shot. What lens was that taken with?

I'll also echo what everyone else has said.

One slight nit though, the first image could have done with a bit of fill in flash.
This would bring out the feather detail add a catchlight to the birds eye.

smashing stuff steve, really shows that the sigma is a steel at £140!!!!
