That really is positively surreal David ... not sure whether it is the lighting/make-up or combo ... but immediate impression says it looks somehow un-real ... if you know what I mean ... :thinking:
That's not to say it isn't a good pic ... it is ... but with such a different result to your 'normal' stuff ... :thumbs:

Sorry if I sounded harsh. The photo is scary (still). It is the hard line of the nose and the single eye that really gives the shot some aggression.
I have no doubt she will be lovely but isn't that the great thing about photography - to deceive the eye!

i know just fancied doing something different. got a lot of different pictures of Xena, great person to work with. i will post somemore of her later.

sorry m8 i know you weren't been harsh, i know it looks scary, she wanted it that way, ive got some of her smiling which i think they are alot better as she has a beautiful smile.
to me it looks very cubist. nice :thumbs:

That is what I was thinking brummie. Almost like a PIcasso painting. I like it in an erie sort of way.
To accentuate the cubist feeling (which is fantastic vision by the way) perhaps loosing the shadow and short hair within the long hair framework would work. I wont edit it myself but I hope my idea helps.

nice shot ftmfrm have you thought about trying it in a duotone might suit the look you were going for omho anyway:thumbs:
