View Full Version : Ghost truck
One of my first fairly successful attempts at light trails. I've a few to sort through if I feel any are worth posting I'll load them up later

It's nice, and it works. I just wish the signs were a bit sharper, great shot though. Love light trail shots.
Very effective, I like it. What are the red light trails in the sky though?

Those are them little lights that lorrys have at the top so you can see how tall it is (I guess) from behind.
I'm trying to find a location with more colour and different lighting. Most street lights around here are orange, I'd much rather see what I can get with white street lights. A mate at work has a shot of a race track (possibly Nurburgring or Le Mans) at night part of the track is lit highlighting the grass. The blend of the light trails, green grass and darkness makes for a brilliant picture in my opinion. Wish I could remember where he downloaded it from.
Another one.

Exactly that kinda thing.
that was le mans last year.. i took it from the ACO stand.. to be honest it came out better than i expected. shame i didnt notice the tannoy in the bottom RH corner :)
what i'd like to know is which car made those extra zig zaggy lines on the first corner!

The photo my mate has on his computer desktop at work, has writing painted on the track, it's foreign words covered by the light trails, but looks very colourful and effective.
That corner at Le Mans is magical at night. Only seen it at the Le Mans Classic event, not the real one. Still watching 1970s ex-Le Mans cars on the circuit at night isnt all bad.... :D

That'll be the Nurburgring then, taken during one of the 24 VLN races. I think I know the picture you mean - it was taken from the outside of the Karussell iirc. I'll try and dig it out
Cropped a few more

as evilowl said, that will be the old nurburgring
its famous for having writing on the track.. try to write on the track at le mans and you'll be shot by snipers :)
Still looking for the night shot, but in the meantime here's one of me adding my name to the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 2005, T13 is the corner for the ubergeeks

But it's not the one I'm thinking of, will carry on the search
I'll take my camera to work today, see if I can photo the picture.
