View Full Version : Lidl Camera Rucksack
Everybodies favourite store, Lidl, is stocking a cheap camera rucksack as a special from tomorrow. I have no idea of the quality, but it might be worth checking out for £19.

why do you say that?
My local lidl generally doesn't get stuff available until the day...

Might have to take a trip to my "local" one tomorrow. Good chance to test out our new Sat-Nav. Tempted by the 21" TV too! never heard of the make, but at that price!
I saw 21" flat screen tv's in the Co-op yesterday for the same price, £79.99
I just bought one - it seems about the same size as the hama, but has a lot more (and I mean a lot more!) pockets (and many are padded).
It also has a shoulder strap, a rain cover and a tripod holder.
just got one too today, will post some pics later. Not had a look at it yet as i'm at work.
This probably needs merging with Steeps thread :)

I've counted 8 zipped pockets including the expandable side pocket with a total of 17 compartments plus the main camera carrying section, which has dividers to make 9 compartments.
There are adjustable loops on the outside to fix a tripod to, a handle and removable shoulder strap.
Build quality looks fine even if all the fixing are plastic
I think it's well worth the £19 you have to pay including VAT.
Oh yes they had plenty at 12.00 this afternoon in the Bolton store, so would think you get one tomorrow if you want one.

The rain cover is in a zipped pocket on the bottom of the bag.

not got a clue what most of the attachments might be for

silly billy, if it had been LCD I'd have bought them all and they'd be on eBay right now :)
Does anyone know what the loops on the side without the pocket are for? Do you think they're similar to sliplock or whatever?
Anyway - it seems to be a very nice bag. I really like the rain cover, although its slightly tricky to get on.
They had plenty in my local as well - at least 5 or so, and I doubt they'll sell fast. How many photographers go to lidl anyway - most of them are too obsessed with how much it cost to go below £50...
