A high zoom lense

Hi all, firstly i would like to say hi as this is my first post.

apologies if this has been asked before but i need a bit of help choosing a high zoom lense. my subject would be mainly landscapes and with a visit to brans hatch in july i would like it to be good with this area as well.

one that i have been looking at is this as it looks good for the money and has the ability to do macro shots

If you're mostly shooting landscapes that lens won't be of much use, but I am going to assume you already have the kit lens.

I would recommend the Nikon 55-200 VR, while it isn't as long as the Sigma it has better image quality, the built in VR and quicker focussing.
