Cable Release for Canon 1000D?

I need to buy a cable release for a birthday present for a relative who has a 1000D. The accessories section of the Canon site is a bit out of date so does anyone know what model number is compatible?

According to EOS magazine site it's the RS-60E3 (Genuine Canon one), as per link below to double check :thumbs:
