Went out today with the camera and the Sima 120-300 and the camera was faultless. Came home downloaded the images and tried to take a pic with the same camera/lens combo but it wouldnt focus.Tried another smaller Nikon lens and again it wont focus, put it into manual and focus and then back into auto ( on the lens ) and it still wont focus. With te swapping of lenses it leads me to think that its the camera. Any ideas o posible things i could try.
On the front - little lever C S M - check its not on M - if it is move to C

Never even thought to look at that and sure enough it was. Handed my camera and lens to an RSPB guy today to feel the weight of it and never used it afterwards. Cheers.:bonk:

Ive knocked mine TOOO many Times :D sometimes in big events (oops) lol. At least you didn't take it into a repair shop and had them "fix" it right in front of your eyes. That would be VERY embarrasing!

:bonk:
As has been said, easily done. At least it is not something expensive to fix.
Maybe you should pop it in to this (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=142904) thread. ;)
