saw this on ebay

are they anygood? maybe just for fun? or not even worth considering buying?

I'd be a bit dubious tbh. On the face of it they're similar to the add on lenses which Nikon sell which screw onto the standard lens on some of their Coolpix compact cameras, but those are manufactured for, and designed to compliment that particular lens. What they seem to be claiming for this product is that you just screw it onto any camera lens with a compatible filter thread size, which frankly seems a just a bit too good to be true when you'd pay the asking price for this product for a decent set of supplementary close up filters.

I'm not saying it's rubbish, but I know there are vignetting problems with the Nikon add on wide angle, which costs a lot more wonga, so I wouldn't be expecting too much from it. ;)

I bought something similar off ebay it was from a company called Opteka, it just screws on the end of my lense with a 58mm thread only bought it for a laugh (also bought a mirror lense) think it was a bit cheaper than the one on your link. here is a pic i took with it.
