Hope this is in the right section?

I'm thinking of selling one of my 30D's, not sure yet so won't post it for sale.

I have just had the shutter replaced and it has also been given a full service and comes with a Canon full 12 month warranty.

It's still in the shop waiting to be collected.

Would it be worth getting rid of and put the money to a newer body or just hang on to it.

How much do they go for in this condition?

Cheers.

Steve

I'm sure it'll continue to do just fine for you unless there's a feature lacking that you need.

I suspect that £300-325 would be a good ballpark figure.

If you were selling this body only i would think £275-£300 or something like that.

Cheers Guy's

I was sort of hoping the new shutter, service and 12 months warranty would take it to around 375.

I was thinking of putting the cash towards a 5D to get the best out of my 24-70L.

You never know mate. Fire it on there and see how you go.

40D's go for £450 so even with a new shutter I'm not sure it would sell but you never know.

Try it at the slightly higher value, but be open to sensible offers, due to the new shutter, 12 month warrenty etc, you may not get the £375, but with the warrenty etc, I would have expeected it to be snapped up fairly quickly

40d can go down to £360, £375 for 30D is a bit high
