Just been mooching about ebay, when i came across these for £31 inc P&P seems a steal considering the offical Nikon ones cost around £100, so gone ahead & bought it.

Here the remote in question.

So does anybody have one & are they ok?

I have one of those (albeit a different branded one, but not a nikon).

I was a bit reluctant to buy that one at first as a lot of the timer functions are already built into the camera BUT when you are as forgetful as I am and it takes you 5 mins to find them in the menus (and a further 5 mins to find them again to turn them off afterwards) it makes a lot of sense, especially when you miss a shot cos you left the camera timer function on :bang:

Mine is well worth the £30 odd I paid for it

I've got one of those too, works fine and I'm sure will last long enough to be a worthwhile alternative to the Nikon one!

what exactly is it you want to do? Seeing as the intervalometer is built in and I can't see me ever using it, I thought it was pointless getting one of these personally, and plumped for a basic wired remote for £4-5 delivered. Works a treat!
